The attention of the office of the National Vice Chairman of the NDC, Chief Sofo Azourka has been drawn to a comment made by Kelvin Ekow Taylor, the host of WITH ALL DUE RESPECT show on Loud Silent Radio & TV.
In his editorial yesterday, he was said to have stated that even though the Azourka Boys are an affiliate to the NDC, the NPP government has been able to compromise and recruited them into the National Security.
That, they've been recruited as thugs to be sent to Western Togoland come November to unleash mayhem to the people and turn around to blame it on the "Westlanders" as a separatist group who want to disorganize or cause war in Ghana.
We're by this release seeking to correct the aforementioned commentary and palce on records that Chief Azourka has not officially recruited or given consent to anyone (especially Azourka Boys) to be recruited into the National Security or any political party for the purposes of causing mayhem. Neither has any "Azourka Boy" been given any formal or informal training in Security operations.
It must be crystal clear that Chief has no political relationship with the NPP and would never have one with them.
For purposes of clarity, it should be noted that the Azourka Boys are not a thuggery group that do not understand any language other than violence...
They're a community driven group that ensures safety, protects the deginity and sanctity of their people while adhering to the principles of rule of law guiding our democracy.
The NDC do not subscribe to party vigilantism or violence of any form, therefore it would be erroneous to assume that Azourka Boys would be recruited into the already partizan and polarized National Security.
WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, the commentary was untrue!
